Internal whitening of a discolored tooth
In cases where a tooth has suffered dental trauma or as a result of root canal treatment, the tooth may appear darker than the adjacent teeth. It can present as a deep yellow or, in some cases, even grayish.
Through the internal whitening process, we can significantly improve the tooth’s color by applying a specialized bleaching method inside the tooth.
Discoloration from trauma in a tooth that is not yet root canal treated
In these cases, the tooth must first undergo root canal treatment. Afterward, repeated sessions are performed where a whitening agent is placed inside the tooth for a certain period until the desired result is achieved.
Discoloration in a tooth that has already undergone root canal treatment
First, the quality of the root canal treatment is evaluated. If it is satisfactory, the internal whitening procedure can proceed immediately. Otherwise, a high-quality root canal treatment must be performed before starting the internal whitening.
