Inlays and Onlays

– Laboratory Ceramic Restorations
What are inlays and onlays? How are they made?

Inlays and onlays are advanced, high-precision ceramic restorations that act as customized fillings. A dental technician creates them in the lab to restore lost tooth structure with perfect fit and a natural aesthetic result.

When a tooth has extensive decay or damage that cannot be restored with a simple filling—but does not yet require a full crown—we choose an inlay or onlay.

The dentist carefully prepares the tooth to precisely receive the restoration. An impression is then taken and sent to the dental laboratory, where a durable ceramic “cap” is designed and crafted to fit exactly over the damaged area. Once returned to the clinic, the dentist permanently bonds it to the tooth, restoring both function and aesthetics.

What are the advantages?

Inlays and onlays offer significant benefits compared to other restorations:

  • Minimally invasive: Less tooth structure needs to be removed compared to crowns, preserving healthy tissue.

  • Cost-effective: More affordable than a full crown.

  • Natural aesthetic result: A wide range of shades allows perfect matching with your natural teeth for a discreet appearance.

  • Precise fit: Custom-made with high-precision digital technology.

  • Durable: Withstands strong chewing forces and wear.

  • Long-lasting: Maintains excellent condition for many years with proper oral hygiene.

  • Stable over time: Does not shrink like composite resin fillings.

  • Protects against new decay: Fits perfectly at the margins, preventing microleakage.

  • Preserves healthy tooth structure: Helps maintain the natural anatomy and overall oral health.

Will they be visible in my mouth?

No. Inlays and onlays are high-quality aesthetic restorations that blend seamlessly with your smile. The dentist selects the perfect shade so that the final result looks completely natural and is indistinguishable from your other teeth.

Why choose inlays or onlays?

Choosing inlays or onlays is a modern approach in aesthetic dentistry that combines strength, precision, and unmatched natural appearance. If you want a restoration that respects your tooth structure while providing long-term protection, ceramic inlays and onlays are an ideal solution. Consult your dentist to determine which restoration best meets your needs.

Teeth Cleaning

Teeth Cleaning – Before & After Cases

With a thorough professional cleaning, we removed tartar, plaque, and surface stains, restoring the natural shine of the teeth. The gums are healthier, and the smile looks clean, bright, and refreshed.

Case: Professional Cleaning & Gum Healing in a Young Patient

Before

The young patient presented with noticeable plaque and tartar buildup, particularly along the gum line. The gums were irritated, showing redness and early signs of inflammation, which caused sensitivity and unpleasant breath.

Right after the cleaning

With a careful professional cleaning, all tartar and stains were completely removed. The teeth regained a clean, natural appearance, and the gums began to “calm” from the irritation. The difference was immediately noticeable in both the smile and the color of the gums.

Two weeks later

At the follow-up examination, the gums had healed remarkably. The inflammation had subsided, the color had returned to a healthy pink, and the tissue was now firm and painless. With the daily oral hygiene maintained by the patient, the results remained stable, leaving the smile healthy and refreshed.

Internal Whitening

Internal whitening of a discolored tooth

In cases where a tooth has suffered dental trauma or as a result of root canal treatment, the tooth may appear darker than the adjacent teeth. It can present as a deep yellow or, in some cases, even grayish.

Through the internal whitening process, we can significantly improve the tooth’s color by applying a specialized bleaching method inside the tooth.

Discoloration from trauma in a tooth that is not yet root canal treated
In these cases, the tooth must first undergo root canal treatment. Afterward, repeated sessions are performed where a whitening agent is placed inside the tooth for a certain period until the desired result is achieved.

Discoloration in a tooth that has already undergone root canal treatment
First, the quality of the root canal treatment is evaluated. If it is satisfactory, the internal whitening procedure can proceed immediately. Otherwise, a high-quality root canal treatment must be performed before starting the internal whitening.

A case of extensive caries

Transforming extensive caries into a healthy, naturally balanced smile.

In this case, we treated a young patient with extensive carious lesions—a characteristic example of hyperdontia. The causes were multifactorial: inadequate oral hygiene, frequent consumption of sugary drinks, and periods of reduced saliva flow.

The treatment plan was based on a holistic approach, aiming not only to restore functionality but also to improve aesthetics. It included:

– Endodontic therapy (root canal treatment)
– Tooth reconstruction with post reinforcement and full crown
– Multiple fillings on affected teeth
– Resin veneers on anterior teeth to enhance shape, color, and symmetry

The patient’s cooperation was excellent, and the final result showcases a healthy, natural smile—with increased confidence and improved daily oral hygiene habits. Another example of how modern dentistry can change a person’s life.

Dental Strass

Dental Strass: A Subtle Sparkle for Your Smile – Vertical Arrangement, Butterfly & Single Stone

Dental rhinestones add an elegant, sparkling touch to your smile without any permanent procedures. Today, you can choose from innovative materials and designs that highlight your personal style. At our clinic, we offer three popular options:

Single Rhinestone
The simplest and most classic choice.
Typically placed on a canine or lateral incisor, it gives a minimal, sophisticated sparkle to your smile without being over the top. Perfect for those who want a subtle effect that looks natural in everyday life while catching the light beautifully.

Vertical Arrangement of Rhinestones
Aligning two or more rhinestones vertically creates a refined, symmetrical look reminiscent of contemporary jewelry. Usually applied to the front surfaces of anterior teeth, such as the canine or lateral incisor, this placement adds a subtle yet eye-catching shine, especially noticeable when speaking.

Butterfly-Shaped Rhinestone Design
Rhinestones arranged in a small butterfly shape create a playful, artistic effect. Ideal for a unique, personalized look. Typically, four tiny rhinestones are combined in a cross pattern to form the butterfly, and subtle color accents can be added for extra flair.

Is it safe?
Absolutely!
The rhinestones are applied without drilling, using a special dental resin. They remain securely in place for months or longer, and can be easily removed by your dentist without any damage to the enamel.

Why choose dental rhinestones?
– Adds sparkle safely
– Highlights your personal style
– Quick placement in just a few minutes
– Pairs beautifully with whitening or other cosmetic treatments for a complete smile makeover

If you want to add a subtle, elegant, or statement sparkle to your smile, dental rhinestones are the perfect choice.

Teeth Whitening Case: Bright Smile for a Young Man

Teeth Whitening Case: A Bright Smile for a Young Man

In this case, teeth whitening was performed on a young man aiming for a natural yet noticeably brighter result. The procedure began with full protection of the gums, applying a special isolation material to ensure the patient’s comfort and safety. At this stage—as shown in the photo—the gums are carefully covered so that the whitening material acts only on the tooth surfaces.

To achieve the ideal bright shade, four whitening sessions were carried out, gradually enhancing the color without altering the natural texture of the teeth. The final result is a healthy, balanced, and radiant smile that highlights the patient’s features.

Composite Veneers – Bonding Technique

Cosmetic Dentistry

Composite Veneers – Bonding Technique

Dental Bonding

A safe and painless technique for dramatic results in your smile.

What is dental bonding (also called tooth lifting)?

Dental bonding is a procedure in which the dentist applies a special resin to the outer surface of the teeth to:

  • Change their shape

  • Correct their color

  • Repair minor chips or fractures

  • Adjust the alignment of slightly crooked teeth

It is a highly versatile procedure for patients seeking specialized aesthetic dental treatments.

What is the resin used, and is it safe?

The resin is the same material used for dental fillings. It is completely safe, adheres strongly to the tooth surface, and integrates seamlessly with your natural teeth.

We use high-quality resins available in a wide range of shades, allowing the final result to be bright, shiny, and perfectly natural-looking.

Does it hurt, and is it time-consuming?

In most cases, no local anesthesia is required, making bonding a comfortable and pleasant procedure for the patient.
It typically requires just one session lasting 2–3 hours, after which the patient leaves the clinic with a completely renewed and aesthetically enhanced smile.

Cost, advantages, and disadvantages

Bonding is more affordable and convenient compared to ceramic veneers. The main drawback is that the results require periodic maintenance: small chips or wear on the resin surface may occur over time and can be easily repaired or polished during routine dental visits.

With proper care, professional polishing, and good oral hygiene, the results of dental bonding can last many years, maintaining a beautiful and natural-looking smile over time.

Tooth Reconstruction with a Post

Tooth Reconstruction with a Post

In cases where there is significant loss of tooth structure—for example, due to trauma (tooth fracture) or decay—the tooth can be restored using a post reconstruction. For those who want to explore modern dental techniques in detail, additional resources are available from specialized dental literature.

What is post reconstruction?

This technique uses the root of the tooth as a support to “rebuild” the missing portion of the tooth.

What are the prerequisites for this technique?

  • The tooth must be root canal treated.

  • If a root canal already exists, its quality is assessed. If there are no issues, the post reconstruction can proceed immediately.

  • If the tooth has not been root canal treated, the root canal procedure is performed first, followed by the post reconstruction.

  • Additionally, the tooth, surrounding bone, and gums must be healthy, and there must be enough remaining tooth structure above the gum line to allow for a stable restoration.

What are the advantages of this method?

  • It is a cost-effective and safe restoration option compared to more expensive alternatives, such as extraction and implant placement.

  • Provides immediate aesthetic restoration in a single session.

  • Can serve as a temporary solution until the patient chooses a more permanent restoration, such as an implant or prosthetic crown.

What are the disadvantages of this method?

  • Teeth that require a post reconstruction are inherently weaker than healthy teeth. Therefore, care is needed regarding the type, hardness, and manner of food consumption.

What materials are used?

  • Fiber post: Permanently cemented into the tooth root with the same adhesive used for crowns and bridges.

  • Composite resin: The aesthetic material used to rebuild the tooth entirely, matching the natural color of the patient’s teeth.

What results can the patient expect?

A restoration that meets modern aesthetic standards while requiring some care and attention from the patient to maintain its longevity.

Bridges and Crowns

In this case, the upper jaw was restored with a zirconia bridge, designed to match the natural shade of the patient’s teeth. The chosen color respects the existing aesthetics and the natural look of the smile, ensuring a stable, functional, and fully harmonious result with the surrounding teeth.

Cavity Prevention – Sealants

Dental Sealants – Protection Against Cavities

Dental sealants are a simple and effective method for preventing cavities, especially in children and teenagers.

During the application, the chewing surfaces of the back teeth are thoroughly cleaned, and a thin layer of protective material (sealant) is applied. This material covers the grooves and pits of the teeth, preventing the accumulation of food and bacteria that cause cavities.

The procedure is painless, takes only a few minutes, and provides long-lasting protection. With sealants, you enhance preventive care and ensure healthy teeth for your child.

It is recommended that a dental cleaning is done before applying sealants.
